How did we get here? It was kind of an accident. We were off minding our own business pursuing something that we loved: the sport of wrestling. We were running a wrestling retail shop, and at some point we introduced a new sock into our product line. And people loved it. Really loved it. Our socks even made it into the Olympic finals with the help of some talented wrestlers. But then something else happened. Moms were stealing their son's wrestling socks for horse back riding. Sisters who didn't wrestle were wearing their brothers socks to school because they were the most comfortable they'd ever worn. A professional athlete wore them and said "you could start a sock company with these." And so we did.
When we saw that people outside of our sport were passionate about our socks, we wanted to create a company that gave them the best of both worlds: socks that they love combined with the pursuit of their own passion.
